Tiffany & Co. has opened its newly redesigned store at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre, aiming to position itself as a premier destination for luxury. The 8,000-square-foot (743.2 m²) space showcases the jewelry house’s commitment to elegance and exclusivity.
The store’s design, led by the renowned architecture firm SANAA, features a striking façade made of 32,000 glass bricks, framed in polished aluminum panels. This design element evokes the idea of “diamonds in the rough,” highlighting the brand’s timeless sophistication.
Inside, the store boasts a custom maple-leaf-inspired light sculpture that illuminates iconic Tiffany collections, including HardWear, T, Lock, and Knot by Tiffany. Artworks by renowned artists like Damien Hirst, Vik Muniz, and Sho Shibuya are prominently displayed, adding an artistic touch to the luxury shopping experience.
A dedicated area for high jewelry highlights Tiffany’s exclusive and rare pieces. Additionally, a custom chandelier by Aggio, designed exclusively for Tiffany, hangs from a champagne gold-leaf ceiling, completing the store’s luxurious atmosphere.
