Gold prices in Karachi saw a significant rise on Monday, climbing by Rs2,000 per tola, driven by an increase in international market prices. According to the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of gold reached Rs276,400 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs1,714, reaching Rs236,968.
On the international front, gold prices rose by $20, reaching $2,652 per ounce.
Silver prices, however, remained stable in the local market, with the price of silver per tola staying unchanged at Rs3,400. The 10-gram silver rate also remained steady at Rs2,914.95.
Locally, gold prices are adjusted with a premium of $20 over international rates.
