Chanel has been named the recipient of the 2025 Gem Award for High Jewelry Excellence, an honor presented by Jewelers of America (JA) and the Gem Awards committee. The prestigious award celebrates exceptional design and innovation in high jewelry, recognizing a brand for a collection that has driven increased consumer interest in luxury pieces.
Chanel was selected for its “Haute Joaillerie Sport” collection, which was unveiled earlier this year. This collection is a testament to the brand’s rich history of blending artistry with craftsmanship, a tradition that dates back to its founding by Gabrielle Chanel in the early 20th century.
JA praised Chanel for its unwavering commitment to the French savoir-faire in jewelry-making. Each piece in the collection is meticulously crafted by hand, from the initial sketches at the Fine Jewelry Creation Studio to the final designs produced by expert artisans in the brand’s atelier.
