The iconic Code Geass franchise, nearly 20 years old, continues to captivate fans with its thrilling mecha and military storytelling. Now, it’s branching out into the world of fashion with a new line of branded jewelry, available through the popular fashion brand TAKE-UP.
This latest collection is inspired by characters from Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, the recent sequel to the original series. The new earrings come in six unique designs, each paying homage to key characters from the show. In addition to the new pieces, TAKE-UP is also re-releasing a highly sought-after set of jewelry based on the classic Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion anime.
The Rozé of the Recapture collection features earrings inspired by three characters: Rozé, the protagonist; Ash, a pivotal character; and Sakuya. Rozé’s earrings feature a diamond-shaped amethyst beneath a cubic zirconia, with a purple color scheme reflecting her distinctive hair. Ash’s earrings are modeled after the Zi-Apollo Knightmare mecha he pilots, while Sakuya’s earrings showcase a garnet color palette to match her eye color. Each design is available in two variations, with the higher-end versions featuring additional looping studs. The base price for these earrings is 24,200 yen (approximately US$158), while the upgraded versions retail for 27,500 yen (around US$181).
Additionally, the Lelouch of the Rebellion jewelry collection is being reissued. Prices for these pieces range from 24,200 yen to 49,500 yen (upwards of US$300). The jewelry, crafted from rhodium-plated and K10 yellow gold, combines elegance and anime fandom, making it a stylish collectible for Code Geass enthusiasts.
The jewelry can be ordered directly from the TAKE-UP website, and international customers can purchase through the Buyee shipping service. The ordering period for both the Rozé of the Recapture and Lelouch of the Rebellion collections ends on December 23, 2024. Items will begin shipping in March 2025.
Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, which received high praise from fans, is widely considered a fitting continuation of the original 2006 series, cementing the franchise’s legacy.
