An attempted armed robbery at a jewelry shop in the Poinsur area of Mumbai was successfully thwarted due to the quick thinking of the shop owner.
Police reports indicate that the incident took place on Wednesday evening at around 10 PM when three unidentified individuals entered the shop, wielding knives, and attempted to steal from it. The shop owner, however, acted swiftly, using a rod kept in the store to defend himself and ward off the attackers. His loud cries for help alerted nearby residents, who rushed to the scene, causing the robbers to flee before they could complete the crime.
