Jewellery Retailer Beaverbrooks Announces Closure of Seven Locations

by Henry

Jewellery retailer Beaverbrooks is set to close seven of its stores in the coming weeks, following a review of its operations. The closures, which will take place in March and April, involve both English and Scottish locations.

Five stores in England will be shut down, including those in Birmingham Fort, High Wycombe, Huddersfield, Croydon, and Sutton Coldfield. Additionally, two Scottish branches, in East Kilbride and Dundee, will also close.

Despite these closures, Beaverbrooks reported strong financial performance last year, with a record turnover of £228.6 million for the period from March 2023 to February 2024. This marked a £3 million increase in turnover, reflecting the retailer’s success in growing market share amid a challenging economic environment.
