A high-level delegation of 18 members from India, including representatives from the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the Jewellers Association Jaipur, and the Sitapura Gems and Jewellery Industry Association, visited Thailand from February 22nd to 24th, 2025. The purpose of the visit was to explore new opportunities for collaboration within the gems and jewellery sector, marking a significant step in strengthening trade ties between the two nations.

A major highlight of the delegation’s trip occurred on the opening day of the Bangkok Gem and Jewelry Fair (BGJF) on February 22nd, 2025. During a grand ceremony, three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed in the presence of prominent Thai industry leaders. These agreements underscore the shared commitment of India and Thailand to fostering long-term cooperation in the gems and jewellery industry.
