Cheshire-based jewellery brand ChloBo recently made waves at the UK Jewellery Awards, beating industry giant Pandora in a remarkable achievement. This win marked the culmination of 20 years of dedication from founder Chloe Moss and her team.
The story of ChloBo began in the mid-2000s when Chloe Moss returned to Cheshire after a worldwide trip. Inspired by the artisan jewellery she saw on her travels, especially in Bali, Chloe started crafting bracelets in her bedroom, reflecting her personal experiences.
At first, Chloe sold these creations at glamorous Cheshire parties attended by the likes of Coleen Rooney and Alex Curran, wives of famous footballers. The brand’s first retail partner was erj boutique in Hoole, which continues to stock ChloBo today, along with more than 200 other retailers across the UK and Ireland.
Since joining ChloBo in 2015, Andi, a key team member, notes that the business has grown by around 10 to 15 percent annually. Although Chloe is less involved in the day-to-day operations, her creative vision continues to shape the brand’s direction.
ChloBo’s success lies in its quality craftsmanship, UK-made products, and its unique approach to personalised jewellery. The brand offers a wide range of items, from delicate bracelets to bold necklaces, rings, earrings, and charms. For Valentine’s Day 2025, ChloBo will introduce a modern twist on one of its bestsellers—a bracelet featuring three love hearts in gold and silver.
Andi shared, “Our story has evolved, but we will always create meaning in our designs. There’s a link to energy and spirituality that gives our customers a warm feeling when they wear our products.”
ChloBo remains proud of its Cheshire roots. Despite its growth, the company is still based in Chester and maintains a close-knit, loyal team, with some members having been with the brand for over 15 years.
