Emily P. Wheeler Expands into Vintage Market with Reworked and Rare Jewels

by Henry

Los Angeles-based designer Emily P. Wheeler, known for her modern and edgy high fine jewelry, is now diving into the vintage market with a collection that aligns with her personal style. The collection is split into two parts: one featuring original vintage signed pieces and the other showcasing vintage items reworked by Wheeler for a contemporary twist.

Over the past decade, Wheeler has carefully curated a selection of sought-after pieces from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, scouring the secondary market for treasures. The collection includes a range of items, from chunky, versatile solid gold hoop earrings from Tiffany & Co. to a rare Bulgari necklace featuring carved gemstone links from the ’70s. Among the standout pieces are a one-of-a-kind Hemmerle necklace, set in an 18-karat yellow articulated chain with a sapphire heart pendant surrounded by diamonds.

The collection also features unsigned, eye-catching designs like an 18-karat yellow gold and turquoise snake cuff accented with rubies and diamonds, as well as a pair of 8-carat heart-shaped ruby earrings set with diamonds in an invisible setting.
