Elizabeth Taylor’s Iconic Jewelry to Be Sold at Beverly Hills Auction

by Henry

Jewelry from the personal collection of screen legend Elizabeth Taylor will be up for auction at a Beverly Hills event later this month.

The highlight of the sale is a stunning ruby, diamond, and gold necklace featuring a lion’s face design, accompanied by matching earrings. This exceptional set is estimated to fetch between $100,000 and $200,000.

Other notable pieces include a 1935 Art Deco emerald and diamond brooch, crafted with old mine-cut and European-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum and gold, valued between $20,000 and $30,000.

Additionally, a gold and diamond Star of David pendant necklace designed by Theo Fennell will be offered. The necklace holds special significance as it commemorates Taylor’s conversion to Judaism in 1959. It is expected to sell for $20,000 to $30,000.

These iconic items will be part of the “Bold Luxury: The Limelight Edit” auction by Julien’s Auctions, taking place on March 27 at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. Other famous fashion and personal items from stars like Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Victoria Beckham, and Amy Winehouse will also be featured.

Martin Nolan, co-founder and executive director of Julien’s Auctions, commented, “Bold Luxury is not just an auction — it’s an invitation to step into the limelight and own a tangible piece of cultural history.”
