After more than 45 years of service to the Orland Park community and beyond, Mari Lou’s Fine Jewelry is closing its doors at Orland Park Crossing due to the loss of their lease. The beloved family-owned business will officially close after its final sale, starting March 11th, offering up to 70% off storewide. Customers can find incredible deals on designer jewelry, luxury gifts, engagement rings, diamonds, gemstones, and more.
Founded in 1979 by Mari Lou, the jewelry store began as a one-woman venture and grew into a family business when her children, Diana and Donald, joined her in the early 1990s at Lakeview Plaza. Diana became the second-generation owner in 2015 when the store was relocated to Orland Park Crossing.
Over the years, Mari Lou’s earned a reputation for exceptional service, a wide selection of fine jewelry, and custom designs. The store has been a trusted name for Orland Park-area families, helping create lasting memories through special events and milestone moments.
“It has been an incredible honor to serve our clients from special events to meaningful milestones. We will always be deeply grateful for the relationships we’ve built along the way and for the trust our clients have placed in us,” said Diana. Despite the store’s closure, she remains hopeful about future opportunities to continue serving clients in new and innovative ways.
In the meantime, Mari Lou’s Fine Jewelry is inviting customers to visit their final sale at 14225 S. 95th Avenue, Unit 406. With prices up to 70% off, inventory is expected to sell out quickly, so shoppers are encouraged to act fast.
Mari Lou’s has been a longstanding community supporter, backing local organizations like the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, My Joyful Heart, South Suburban Family Shelter, and Together We Cope.
