A collection of jewelry featuring Azerbaijani national motifs by Aynur Jahan, residing in Canada, was displayed at the “Summer pop up” craft venue in Paris’s 3rd arrondissement, as reported by Azernews.
Local community members and Azerbaijanis living in Paris attended the presentation.
Aynur Jahan, during her time abroad, aimed to create a collection inspired by Azerbaijan. Eight years ago, she fulfilled this aspiration, designing jewelry patterns influenced by Azerbaijani carpet motifs. Her collections include pieces featuring designs from the Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque in Shusha.
Through her jewelry, Jahan shares insights about Azerbaijan and the narratives connected to these motifs.
