New Delhi: The largest lab-grown diamond in India has been sold by the Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers, based in Bengaluru. The 20.06-carat emerald-cut gem, with an F color and VS1 clarity, is celebrated for its beauty, innovation, and sustainability, according to an official statement.
The diamond was sold by crash.club, a new sub-brand of the Krishniah Chetty Group, which specializes in lab-grown diamonds. This sale has established crash.club as a leader in the growing market for lab-grown diamonds, the statement noted.
Lab-grown diamonds are created in laboratories to mimic the conditions under which natural diamonds form. They are identical to natural diamonds in their physical, chemical, and optical properties.
Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers has a 155-year history and has served as jewellers to HH Krishnarajendra Wodeyar and several royal families, according to the official release.
