Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal Commissioner of Police Harinarayanachari Mishra has announced a ₹30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the robbers who targeted a jewellery shop on Tuesday night. The thieves stole cash and jewellery during the heist.
According to Bag Sewaniya police, the robbers, who were armed with knives and guns, made off with ₹40,000 in cash and gold ornaments worth ₹6 lakh. Bag Sewaniya police station’s TI Amit Soni stated that seven police teams are working on the case, and the Crime Branch has also been brought in to assist with the investigation.
TI Soni added that, during questioning, the shop owner and employees reported that the robbers mocked them as they fled, claiming their weapons were toy guns. Misrod ACP Rajneesh Kashyap Kaul noted that the full details of the incident will be revealed once the suspects are apprehended.
