Ernst Jones has introduced its latest exclusive offering: the Leonardo Da Vinci Cut diamond collection, featuring traceable diamonds.
This collection draws inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s exploration of the ‘Golden Ratio,’ a mathematical concept also known as the divine proportion. The ratio, expressed as a/b=1.618, is often found in nature and is widely regarded as a formula for beauty and perfection.
Da Vinci applied this ‘Golden Ratio’ in his 60 illustrations for Luca Pacioli’s work, ‘De Divina Proportione.’
The Leonardo Da Vinci Cut diamonds are designed to enhance the natural beauty of the stones. Each diamond features 57 facets, unlike the traditional round brilliant cut, which has 58 facets.
Additionally, every diamond in the collection is traceable to its country of origin, thanks to blockchain technology.
