Heritage Auctions has placed a $300,000 high estimate on a Van Cleef & Arpels pear-shaped diamond ring, which will headline its upcoming jewelry auction.
The 5.01-carat, D-color, internally flawless diamond ring is set to be a highlight of the Fall Fine Jewelry Signature Auction, scheduled for September 30, according to Heritage Auctions’ announcement last week. Alongside this, a ring featuring a cut-cornered rectangular modified brilliant-cut, 16.07-carat, fancy-yellow, VS1-clarity diamond center stone, accompanied by shield-shaped diamonds totaling approximately 2.65 carats, is also up for grabs. This piece is expected to fetch up to $225,000.
“This is an exceptional sale,” said Jill Burgum, executive director of fine jewelry at Heritage Auctions. “The collection offers a vibrant mix of bold colors alongside pristine diamonds. The designer pieces, both classic and contemporary, are remarkable. Notably, we have a substantial collection by Nini, which marks her debut in a major auction. All proceeds from the sale of her jewelry will go to charity.”
Another standout is a modified heart-shaped 5.17-carat, F-color, VS2-clarity diamond ring, with an upper estimate of $150,000. Additionally, Heritage Auctions will present a whimsical collection of brooches designed by Aldo Cipullo. The eight-piece set includes designs featuring a penguin, seahorse, unicorns, and Viracocha, the Incan creator god. Estimates for these pieces range from $6,000 to $15,000.
The Fall Fine Jewelry Signature Auction promises to be a dazzling event, offering both collectors and connoisseurs the opportunity to acquire stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces.
