Manama, Nov. 28 – Jewellery Arabia 2024, the region’s leading jewellery and watch exhibition, is captivating visitors at Exhibition World Bahrain. The event features luxury brands presenting their latest creations, with top names like Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, and Palmiero offering exclusive collections that combine heritage, innovation, and craftsmanship.

Patek Philippe is unveiling its Cubitus collection, marking the brand’s first new line in 25 years. Olivier Mestre, Area Manager for the Middle East, highlighted the importance of this release in an interview with the Bahrain News Agency (BNA). The Cubitus collection, which was first introduced in Munich, features a square design for a versatile ladies’ model. The collection includes three versions: two plain models with freehand dates and one complicated model with a big date, a first for Patek Philippe.

Mestre emphasized the significance of Bahrain as a key market for luxury goods and noted the positive recovery of the luxury sector post-pandemic. He described Jewellery Arabia as an essential event for connecting with the region’s sophisticated buyers.

Vacheron Constantin is celebrating the elegance of the 1950s with its latest collections, including the iconic Patrimony and Overseas lines. Christophe Ramel, Managing Director for the Middle East, Turkey, India, and Africa, discussed the minimalist design of the Patrimony collection, which draws inspiration from 1950s timepieces. The Overseas collection features a green-dial automatic model and a rare tourbillon made of lightweight titanium, a first for the brand. Titanium improves both the design and function of the timepieces.

Ramel also spoke about Vacheron Constantin’s long-standing relationship with Jewellery Arabia and its ongoing engagement with Bahrain’s watch collectors. This year, the brand is offering a gem-setting workshop, allowing visitors to learn about the craft of watchmaking.

Palmiero, an Italian luxury brand, is presenting its Rays of Sun collection, a jewellery line inspired by Arabian heritage and culture. Fabio Palmiero, Head of Marketing and Communications, explained that the collection reflects the rich traditions of the Middle East. The designs are inspired by the sun’s rays interacting with gold, creating captivating patterns and light effects.

Palmiero’s display also features its signature Alter and Hero collections. The Alter watch, designed for women, offers three interchangeable dials: diamond-studded, sapphire-encrusted, and gold. The Hero collection offers smaller versions of its iconic designs, catering to a younger audience.

The presence of these brands at Jewellery Arabia 2024 highlights their commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and a shared appreciation for timeless design. Visitors can explore these exclusive collections until November 30.
