2024 marks a milestone for Cartier as the luxury brand celebrates the centenary of its iconic Trinity collection. To mark the occasion, Cartier will host a series of global pop-up events culminating in Miami during Miami Art Week (December 4-8), held concurrently with Art Basel Miami Beach.
In the heart of Miami’s renowned Design District, Cartier will unveil the Trinity 100 exhibition, an immersive experience that highlights the collection’s rich history and unveils a new Trinity ring inspired by the brand’s fascination with wild animals.
Designed by Louis Cartier in 1924, the Trinity ring is instantly recognizable for its three interlocking bands in platinum, yellow gold and rose gold. The design symbolizes everlasting love and is renowned for its playful aesthetic, making it perhaps the first truly luxurious finger-tip ring.
Prior to the Miami exhibition, Cartier has brought the Trinity 100 experience to cities such as New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo. The exhibition offers visitors a multi-sensory journey through the history of the Trinity collection, with five distinct spaces, each exploring a different aspect of the design. Highlights include a room dedicated to Trinity’s impact on pop culture, a room dedicated to Jean Cocteau, and another focused on the symbolism of the number 3 – the three rings that make up the Trinity piece.
As Cartier celebrates Trinity’s enduring heritage, the exhibition highlights the collection’s timeless elegance and the brand’s continued innovation in design.
