Kentucky State Police troopers successfully recovered more than $16,000 worth of stolen custom jewelry in Clinton County last Friday, following an investigation that led to the arrests of two suspects.

The investigation began on Thursday after authorities were alerted to a theft involving jewelry valued at over $16,000 from a home in Clinton County. Troopers tracked the stolen items to a residence on Cave Springs Road, where they recovered several of the pieces.

During the investigation, law enforcement gathered information that led to the arrest of 41-year-old Virginia Conner and 42-year-old Christopher Conner, both of Albany. Virginia Conner was charged with theft by unlawful taking of more than $10,000, while Christopher Conner faced charges of receiving stolen property (more than $10,000), disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Both individuals were taken into custody and lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
