Jared jewelry stores are undergoing a major transformation as the brand celebrates its 30th anniversary. Aiming to create a more welcoming and personalized shopping experience, the stores are being renovated with brighter, more open layouts. Traditional, long glass vitrines are being replaced with freestanding display cases to foster closer, more interactive experiences between associates and customers.
The store interiors are also getting a fresh update, with color schemes shifting from dark brown to vibrant hues like tourmaline, sunstone, and topaz. Accent walls in gold or blue, along with new carpeting in bridal areas, further elevate the atmosphere.
Claudia Cividino, president of Jared, explained, “We’ve placed such an emphasis on creating a sense of intimacy. We are evolving our way of selling to be more modern.” This shift is designed to bring clients closer to the jewelry, making the experience feel less formal and more interactive.
In particular, bridal shopping has become a more relaxed and personal experience. “We want our customers to feel comfortable, seated, and able to connect with an associate,” Cividino said. “Many of our consultants have been invited to the weddings of clients they’ve worked with.”
This new approach is all about building relationships and offering an intimate, memorable experience, especially for significant purchases like engagement rings, which can take up to an hour to finalize in-store. With these changes, Jared is not just selling jewelry—it’s creating lasting connections.
