PLACITAS – “Exhibit’s Featured Artists: Jewelry: A Medium of Symbolic Communication” is now open at The Wild Hearts Gallery, showcasing the work of Geri Verble and Sandy Johnson. The exhibit, which highlights their unique jewelry designs, will be on display until February 2.
Verble specializes in contemporary ethnic jewelry, while Johnson is known for her mastery of metalsmithing.
An artists’ reception will take place on December 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A portion of sales from the event will benefit “Rebuilding Together Sandoval County,” a nonprofit organization focused on repairing homes for low-income families.
Additionally, the gallery will host its First Sunday event on January 5, starting at 10 a.m. with coffee and sweets. A gallery talk will follow at noon, where the artists will discuss their personal connections to their designs and artwork.
