Pomellato is enhancing its presence in New York through a new residency at Bergdorf Goodman, where the Milanese fine jewelry brand showcases its signature collections, including the iconic Nudo, and one-of-a-kind pieces.
The Pomellato x Bergdorf Goodman pop-up, located in the luxury store’s jewelry salon, opened on November 1 and will run until January 31. Nathalie Diamantis, Pomellato’s president and CEO of the Americas, calls Bergdorf Goodman’s jewelry department the finest in the U.S.
“The pop-up reflects Pomellato’s feminine and modern spirit, inspired by Milanese architecture from the ’60s and ’70s,” Diamantis says. Pomellato and Bergdorf Goodman have been partners for over a decade, with Bergdorf being the U.S. retailer carrying the largest selection of Pomellato’s high jewelry. This new space expands the brand’s presence at the store, offering exclusive pieces that are only available for purchase in-store.
Diamantis describes the pop-up as an immersive experience that brings Pomellato’s jewelry to life through design. Davide Caprioli, Pomellato’s head of store design and construction, designed the space, which highlights Murano glass artistry. Pink Murano glass tiles create a striking glass wall, and the jewelry displayed beneath reflects the vibrant colors of the glass.
“A Venetian artisan created each glass piece for the pink curtain that surrounds the space,” Diamantis explains. “The warmth and elegance of the space reflect the craftsmanship of our jewelry, creating an emotional experience for clients.”
The residency features pieces from Pomellato’s high jewelry collections, including Ode to Milan, Catene, and La Gioia. Notable pieces on display include the Sabbia necklace and the dramatic Dama bracelet.
Andrew Mandell, vice president and divisional merchandise manager of decorative home and jewelry at Bergdorf Goodman, praised the pop-up as a significant addition to the department store.
“Pomellato’s new offering is spectacular,” Mandell said. “With creativity, craftsmanship, and vision, they continue to deliver exceptional pieces our clients seek. This marks an important chapter for both Bergdorf Goodman and Pomellato.”
Pomellato has had an eventful year, also acquiring the Valenza Setting Lab in northern Italy in addition to planning the Bergdorf Goodman residency.
