Swarovski, the internationally recognized retailer known for its crystal-accented jewelry, watches, and décor, is set to open a new store in downtown Westport. The location, situated at 61 Main St., will be surrounded by other luxury brand shops, including Tiffany and Chanel.
The store, scheduled to open early next year, will span nearly 1,900 square feet, according to commercial real estate firm RIPCO Real Estate, which brokered the lease.
Founded in 1895 in Austria by Daniel Swarovski, the brand is renowned for its precision-cut crystals, which feature prominently in its jewelry, fashion accessories, and crystal products. With stores worldwide, Swarovski is known for combining traditional craftsmanship with innovation in its collections.
The new Westport store is expected to complement the town’s reputation as a luxury shopping destination, offering residents and visitors access to high-end brands in a charming downtown setting.
Beth Rosen, RIPCO’s executive vice president, highlighted the significance of the new store, saying, “Swarovski’s legacy as a leader in luxury crystal and jewelry makes this new space a destination for customers to experience their stunning collections up close, from jewelry and watches to crystal décor.”
She added, “Swarovski’s decision to open in Westport further solidifies the area’s standing as a vibrant hub for luxury shopping.”
