A daylight robbery occurred under the Kamarda police station in Balasore district, where thieves made off with gold jewelry worth Rs 5 lakh from a local jewelry shop.
According to reports, the shop owner had left the store briefly to fetch water, leaving behind a bag containing 300 grams of gold jewelry and cash. When he returned, he discovered the bag was missing.
The owner immediately searched the area but was unable to locate the stolen items. He later filed a complaint with the Kamarda police station.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident, reviewing CCTV footage in hopes of identifying the culprits. This bold robbery has left the local community in shock.
