PDPaola Opens U.S. Flagship in New York’s West Village

Spanish jewelry company PDPaola is launching its U.S. expansion with the opening of a flagship store in New York City. The Barcelona-based brand is also eyeing other major cities, including Dallas, Miami, and Los Angeles, for future locations.

PDPaola opened its first U.S. boutique on December 12, a 1,500-square-foot store at 346 Bleecker Street in Manhattan’s West Village. The brand, known for offering a range of jewelry from fashion pieces to fine jewelry in 18k gold and lab-grown diamonds, is already familiar to U.S. consumers through its website and recent appearances in department stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s.

Jason McNary, who was appointed as CEO of PDPaola’s U.S. operations earlier this year, emphasized the company’s goal of establishing a strong presence in the U.S. market. “Our long-term vision is to solidify PDPaola’s position here,” McNary said in a statement.

Founded in 2015 by siblings Humbert Sasplugas and Paola Sasplugas, PDPaola now operates more than 60 stores worldwide. The brand’s expansion into the U.S. comes at a time when there is growing demand for accessible luxury and high-quality jewelry.

Humbert Sasplugas, CEO of PDPaola, described the U.S. market as one of the brand’s most strategic growth opportunities. “Entering the U.S. is a key step in our international strategy,” he said. “The American market leads global demand for fashion and luxury, and we see strong growth potential here in the medium to long term.”

The Bleecker Street location will feature PDPaola’s latest collections, including signature pieces like The Icons collection. Sasplugas added that the store will help the brand strengthen its international narrative and create a stronger connection with U.S. consumers.
