The awards ceremony for the Progol3D Design Contest took place in harmony with the Vicenzaoro exhibition at the Teatro Palladio in Fiera di Vicenza, celebrating exceptional talent in the jewelry design world. The contest is a prestigious international competition that brings together emerging designers from renowned jewelry design schools globally.
The event’s technical jury included experts from Progold, a Trissino-based company specializing in 3D printed semi-finished jewelry, Crivelli, a respected jewelry house from Valenza, and Platinum Guild International. This year’s grand prize was awarded to Davide Chiarito from IED Turin, while Ariadna Guardia from Jorgc Escola De Joieria in Barcelona, who earned the most online votes, also received recognition.
The contest’s theme, “The Crivelli Man: A Contemporary Interpretation,” challenged participants to create modern jewelry designs inspired by the Crivelli brand’s distinctive style. The use of 3D technologies, platinum, and sandblasted titanium played a key role in the designs. Over 200 projects from 98 students representing eight schools across seven countries were submitted for the 2025 edition.
The awards ceremony was attended by prominent figures in the jewelry industry, including Damiano Zito, CEO of Progold; Alessia Crivelli, Director of Crivelli and Founder of the Mani Intelligenti Foundation; Tai Wong, Director of Innovation and Product Development at Platinum Guild International; Daniela Bulgarelli, Coordinator of the Jewelry and Accessory Design Course at IED Turin; and Giò Carbone, Director of Le Arti Orafe.
