Manchester’s reputation as a hub for chic and trendy shopping is set to get even stronger with the upcoming opening of Astrid & Miyu’s first standalone store in the city. The British jewellery brand, already popular in the UK, Europe, and New York, will open its new boutique in the historic Royal Exchange building on Market Street on Saturday, 1st February.
Astrid & Miyu has previously had a presence in Manchester through a concession at Selfridges Trafford Centre, but this new store marks its first independent location in the city. The store is designed to blend the brand’s signature style with Manchester’s rich history. The color palette, inspired by the city’s iconic red brick architecture, and antique brass light fittings, reflect the city’s industrial heritage.
The new boutique will feature the brand’s full range of sought-after jewellery, along with two studios offering popular services such as piercing, welding, and tattoos. Exclusive new charms and tattoos inspired by Manchester will also be launched to celebrate the store’s opening.
Connie Nam, founder of Astrid & Miyu, shared her excitement: “Our customers have been asking us for a Manchester store for years, so we’re thrilled to finally open in this fantastic city. The new store beautifully combines Manchester’s heritage with our signature style, offering exclusive designs just for the Manchester community.”
