Iconic Indianapolis business Windsor Jewelry will close its doors for good on January 4, marking the end of an era. The store, located just a short distance from Monument Circle, has been serving the community since 1919.
Owner Greg Bires, who has run the family business for decades alongside his wife Lynn, announced his decision to retire at the age of 70. “I’ve decided it’s time for me to spend more time with my family,” Bires said.
To mark the occasion, Windsor Jewelry is holding a “going out of business” sale, with items discounted up to 80%. Customers have flocked to the store for their final chance to purchase cherished heirlooms before the business closes for good.
“The end date is the fourth of January,” Bires added, encouraging shoppers to visit before it’s too late.
