Coyote Beads & Jewelry Celebrates Two Decades of Serving Bowling Green

by Henry

Coyote Beads & Jewelry, a cherished part of the Bowling Green community, is celebrating 20 years of offering high-quality beads, jewelry, supplies, and custom designs. Founded in 2005, the store has built a reputation for its wide selection of products and services, including jewelry repairs and technique classes.

Owner Gayle Walterbach, whose passion for the jewelry industry has shaped the store’s success, shared the store’s evolution. “When I first started, we were located on Ridge Street, sharing space with a yoga and Pilates studio. It was small,” Walterbach recalled. “In the past five years, we’ve expanded to feature artisan jewelry from the Southwest. I travel out west twice a year to meet artists and curate unique items that can’t be found anywhere else.”

Coyote Beads & Jewelry also offers private jewelry-making classes for groups, providing a fun and engaging way for participants to create their own custom pieces. “Our classes are designed to be enjoyable, whether it’s for team building or just for fun,” Walterbach said. “We also offer scheduled classes, which are available on our website.”
