Italian luxury menswear brand Kiton has unveiled its debut jewellery collection, named ‘Tailored Gems’. Inspired by the ancient goldsmithing tradition of Naples’s Borgo Orefici neighbourhood, the line will initially be available exclusively in the US through a series of bespoke events at Kiton’s flagship stores.
For this fine jewellery collection, Kiton has partnered with a family-run Italian laboratory that shares its commitment to craftsmanship and Italian-made production. The pieces reflect the Kiton family’s love for art and goldsmithing, with the circle as the signature design. Symbolizing eternity, harmony, and balance, the circle shape is also featured in Kiton’s logo, where it appears as a red dot.
The ‘Tailored Gems’ collection offers necklaces, rings, and bracelets designed for women of various ages and occasions. For example, pavé necklaces are perfect for special events, while the bracelets are ideal for daily wear, and the long necklaces provide a sophisticated look. The jewellery is crafted in white and yellow gold, set with white and brown diamonds, and blue sapphires, a colour closely tied to Kiton’s brand identity.
In the photoshoot for the collection, the jewellery is displayed on a luxurious swathe of ‘blue diamond’ fabric made from exclusive 14-micron wool. This fabric is named after the affectionate nickname “blue diamond,” which Kiton founder Ciro Paone gave to his wife.
Each piece in the collection can be customised, allowing customers to choose the colour of the stones. The modern-style ring also features an intentionally empty centre, offering customers the opportunity to set it with a stone of their choice.
