Museum of Arts and Design Commemorates 25th MAD About Jewelry Edition

by Henry

The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) is set to host the 25th edition of MAD About Jewelry, its annual exhibition and sale of contemporary jewelry, from May 3 to May 7. This special event will showcase the work of 50 artists, both established and emerging, from 23 different countries. The exhibition will feature unique jewelry pieces that push the boundaries of design.

The event will kick off with an Opening Benefit Brunch on May 3, where MAD will honor Frank Everett, a renowned jewelry expert and Vice Chairman for Jewelry at Sotheby’s. Before his role at Sotheby’s, Everett had a distinguished career in the luxury jewelry industry, working at Bulgari, Tiffany & Co., and Harry Winston. He is also known for his popular video series, Frank’s Files, which has gained a global following.

Guests at the brunch will have the exclusive opportunity to preview the jewelry pieces featured in this year’s event. The brunch will also celebrate Everett’s significant contributions to the jewelry world, highlighting his influence on craftsmanship and excellence. The event will take place at Robert, and all proceeds will go toward supporting MAD’s mission to promote contemporary art, craft, and design.
