Shola Branson’s new collection, Fragments, stands out among antique Cartier diamonds and mid-century Jean Després bracelets at Sotheby’s Paris. On display until April 12, the collection not only highlights Branson’s fresh, chic aesthetic but also embraces a modern approach to materials, featuring SMO (Single Mine Origin) gold, responsibly sourced Colombian emeralds, and Botswanamark diamonds.
This marks the first time the British-Nigerian jewelry designer has exhibited in Paris, although he previously participated in Sotheby’s Brilliant & Black exhibitions in New York and London. Branson sees this Paris debut as both an affirmation and a major milestone in his career. “As my work matures, presenting at Sotheby’s Paris feels like a significant step forward,” he says. “Paris is synonymous with luxury and offers access to a global network of collectors.”
