Muliya Gold & Diamonds, one of Dakshina Kannada’s most esteemed and long-standing jewellery brands, marked a major milestone on Sunday with the grand inauguration of its newly renovated and expanded showroom on Court Road, Puttur. The event drew widespread attention and enthusiasm, as the beloved brand stepped into a new era of elegance, innovation, and customer experience—celebrating 81 years of heritage.
The grand reopening was carried out in a traditional and culturally rich manner. Celebrated actor and now the official brand ambassador of Muliya, Ramesh Aravind, arrived at the venue in a specially decorated open vehicle carrying a ceremonial lamp from the Mahalingeshwara Temple. The symbolic gesture infused the occasion with a spiritual and festive aura.
A dramatic moment unfolded as a massive curtain draped over the showroom was pulled down, unveiling the modern façade and interiors of the four-floor, 10,000 square-foot space—now officially the largest jewellery showroom in Dakshina Kannada. Ramesh Aravind proceeded to inaugurate each section of the store, warmly welcomed by hundreds of cheering attendees.
Founded in 1944, Muliya Jewels has long been synonymous with life’s celebrations, precious moments, and trusted craftsmanship. The Puttur branch makeover is part of the brand’s 2025 revamp and infrastructure modernization campaign, reflecting Muliya’s continued commitment to offering an elevated shopping experience for its loyal customers.
“Muliya’s journey has always been about more than just jewellery—it’s about relationships, trust, and tradition. This new chapter enhances all of that,” said Keshava Prasad Muliya, the company’s administrative head.
