Pakistan made a stunning debut on the global luxury scene with its inaugural Gems and Jewellery Show, held earlier this month in Lahore. The event, organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Ministry of Commerce, marked a significant milestone in showcasing the country’s expertise in gemstone mining and jewellery crafting.
The show featured prominent local jewellers collaborating with top designers to unveil exquisite, handcrafted collections. Educational institutions, particularly the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, joined forces with Lulusar to spotlight emerging talent in the industry.
The event attracted international delegations and buyers from Europe, Asia, and Africa, demonstrating Pakistan’s evolving role in the global luxury market—not just as a supplier of raw materials, but as a sophisticated player within the high-end fashion and jewellery sectors.
The production was flawlessly managed by Take II PR and Events, with runway direction by renowned designer Rizwan Beyg. Styling was handled by Ehtesham Ansari, while Nabila’s provided hair and makeup. Backstage coordination was led by Murad Raheem Khan, and PR efforts were executed by Connect Marketing, collectively setting a new standard for Pakistan’s fashion and jewellery industries.
