Jewelry Valued at $200,000 Stolen in Daly City Home Burglary: Police

Daly City, California – A recent burglary in Daly City has resulted in a substantial loss for a local household, as reported by the Daly City Police Department in a statement released on Wednesday. The incident occurred on April 4, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 10:20 a.m., at a residence situated on Woodland Avenue.

According to authorities, the perpetrator(s) gained entry by shattering the rear glass sliding door and proceeded to abscond with jewelry valued at over $200,000, along with $700 in cash and approximately $500 worth of tools. Whether any occupants were present during the burglary remains unknown at this time.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the incident.

The Daly City Police Department has not indicated whether the stolen items have been recovered and returned to their rightful owner. Additionally, no other residential burglaries were reported within the timeframe spanning from April 1 to April 7.

Woodland Avenue is located in close proximity to Fernando Rivera Middle School and Thomas Edison Elementary School. As of now, investigations into the burglary that occurred on April 4 remain ongoing.
