Louis Vuitton has launched a new jewelry collection, featured in a marketing campaign with actress Ana de Armas. The collection, named “Awakened Hands, Awakened Minds,” was designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof and is inspired by 19th-century France.
This is Amfitheatrof’s sixth collection for Louis Vuitton, consisting of 220 exclusive pieces divided into 13 themes.
“France in the 19th century was a phenomenal time of incredible change, and when Paris really became the center of the world,” Amfitheatrof said. “The design language of Awakened Hands, Awakened Minds reflects that – all its intricacies, complications, and innovations – turned into incredible jewels.”
One notable piece is the Séduction necklace, featuring a 12-carat Zambian emerald, which took over 4,200 hours to complete.
Another highlight is the Splendeur necklace, a high-collar piece with 52 rubies. Created by 17 setters and 30 jewelers, it features more than 2,400 individual elements and required over 3,200 hours to finish.
