The annual COUTURE event at the Wynn Las Vegas is the premier gathering for designer fine jewellery and luxury timepieces. This exclusive showcase highlights the latest masterpieces from top design houses, setting the stage for future trends in luxury jewellery. Solitaire International selected standout pieces for a discerning audience, featuring some of the event’s most exquisite and innovative designs.
Assael presented stunning linear earrings in platinum, featuring round Tahitian cultured pearls and half-moon rose cut diamonds on a base of petrified wood. This piece exemplifies the trend of using alternative materials in fine jewellery, with pearls and uniquely cut diamonds making a notable resurgence.
Indian brands Moksh and Studio Renn have achieved global acclaim. Moksh, a well-established name, displayed an 18-karat matte-finished necklace with pearls and diamonds, accented with ruby baguettes and a pendant of Keshi pearls, rubies, and diamonds. Founder Milan Chokshi noted the growing popularity of this style in the USA.
Studio Renn, based in Mumbai, has captured the attention of jewellery enthusiasts worldwide. Co-founder and creative director Rahul Jhaveri, who views jewellery as art, was nominated for Best in Diamonds Below $40K. Studio Renn’s Crocodile earrings, crafted in 18-karat blackened white gold with Zambian emeralds and diamonds, reflect this artistic vision.
Cypriot designer Maria Kotsoni showcased handmade gold jewellery, with standout earrings from her Eternal Waves collection. These earrings, designed to appear intentionally unfinished, are adorned with VS diamonds and reflect Kotsoni’s sculptural aesthetic.
Rishi Mehta of Diva Jewels introduced the Marvels of Nature collection, featuring nature-inspired en tremblant pieces with gemstones and diamonds. The versatile ‘Ruby Blossom Heels’ can be worn as a brooch or bracelet, highlighting intricate floral motifs with rubies and diamonds set in pink-plated rose gold.
Parisian artist Lydia Courteille drew inspiration from Mexico’s Huichol art for her “Pair Of Deer” necklace. This 18-karat open gold piece features deer heads adorned with diamonds, yellow sapphires, onyx, emeralds, and tsavorite, paying tribute to the Huichol deer deity Marra.
