Melbourne-based startup Cullen Jewellery is expanding both domestically and internationally.
The company is set to open two new stores in Adelaide and Sydney, as well as international locations in Auckland, New Zealand; San Francisco, USA; Toronto, Canada; and London, UK. All these new stores are expected to open by the end of this year.
Cullen Jewellery began as an online-only brand but opened its first physical store in Melbourne in 2019. Since then, it has expanded to four showrooms, including locations in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth.
In addition to opening new stores, Cullen Jewellery has launched a range of lab-made sapphires. These sapphires come in various colors, such as Kashmir Blue, Flamingo Pink, and Royal Purple, and are available in different shapes and sizes.
Founder Jordan Cullen noted that the brand has been closely following the development of lab-grown sapphires and believes the current quality meets their high standards.
“With recent advances in production, we believe the brilliance and color now match our expectation of excellence for all our products,” Cullen said.
“As the industry continues to look to us for bridal, moissanite, and lab-grown diamond jewellery standards, we’re excited to bring this opportunity to our clients.”
Established in 2018, Cullen Jewellery is known for its sustainable, ethical, and conflict-free fine jewellery made from lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, and now sapphires.
