Melbourne-based jewellery brand Kieroy is carving a niche with its unique twist on high-quality pieces.
Founder Kieran Jackson seized an unexpected opportunity during the pandemic when he shifted focus from hospitality to scaling up his label, Kieroy. “During the second lockdown, I quit my job, got a studio, and went full-time into my own business,” he explains. This move proved timely as consumer interest surged during lockdowns.
Now firmly established in Australia’s jewellery scene, Kieroy boasts a loyal following for its classic designs with a contemporary edge. Jackson is set to open his first brick-and-mortar store soon, promising a welcoming space where customers can experience his creations firsthand. “There’ll always be a pot of coffee on in the morning and a cork being pulled in the evening,” he adds.
Jackson’s journey began with a passion for jewellery, nurtured during his studies and subsequent work in the industry. His vision for Kieroy bridges the gap between artisanal and mainstream jewellery, focusing on timeless craftsmanship.
Reflecting on his journey, Jackson expresses pride in achieving his dream of a physical store sooner than expected. He continues to operate from his Brunswick studio while preparing for this exciting new chapter.
For those unfamiliar with Kieroy, Jackson describes it simply as “cute but tough,” reflecting the brand’s aesthetic and ethos. Looking ahead, he plans to explore collaborations beyond jewellery, inspired by recent partnerships in architecture and furniture.
As he prepares to open his doors, Jackson invites customers to shop online or visit his Brunswick studio by appointment to explore Kieroy’s offerings. His message to supporters is clear: “Keep an eye out for our store opening—it’ll be a place where you can enjoy coffee, wine, and discover some truly special jewellery.”
