The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have captured the attention of Mumbai, showcasing stunning wedding fashion. Among the notable appearances, Shloka Ambani stood out with her elegant ensembles, blending traditional and modern styles. For the recent mehendi night, Shloka opted for a magnificent saree instead of a heavy lehenga, highlighting vintage jewellery from her maternal grandmother.
Shloka’s styling for the mehendi ceremony was handled by her sister, Diya Mehta Jatia. She chose a golden-green tissue silk saree with zari work and a signature paan patti motif on the border from Masaba Gupta’s label, House Of Masaba. She paired it with a half-sleeved embroidered blouse and a contrasting green dupatta, adorned with golden zari and motifs.
Her accessories were the highlight of her outfit. Shloka wore her grandmother’s vintage gold jewellery, including a matar-style gold necklace, matching earrings, and a maang teeka, giving her a regal and traditional look. Her makeup was kept subtle with a light base, kohl-rimmed eyes, and nude pink lips. She styled her hair in loose, wavy curls, letting it cascade over her shoulders.
Previously, Diya Mehta styled Shloka in a vibrant, multi-panelled lehenga for the haldi ceremony. This piece was from Anamika Khanna’s label. The green lehenga featured elaborate multi-coloured Resham embroidery, thread and sequin work, and floral designs. It had a high waist and an A-line style with maximum flare. Shloka paired it with a beige, elaborately embroidered blouse with a backless design, tassel and bead embellishments, and a square neckline. The outfit was completed with a crimson patterned dupatta with gota patti borders and intricate threadwork.
Shloka accessorized the lehenga with bangles, a pearl-embellished maang teeka, statement earrings, and a heavy choker necklace. She finished her look with a braided hairstyle adorned with gajra. Her makeup included kohl-lined eyes, mauve eyeshadow, black eyeliner, mascara, highlighter, tinted cheekbones, and pink lip colour.
