Harrods Celebrates Summer with High Jewellery Showcase

Luxury retailer Harrods is celebrating the high summer season with a two-week event featuring the world’s most prestigious high jewellery brands.

Harrods, known for its extensive collection of high jewellery, offers customers access to some of the finest and rarest pieces available globally. This summer, the retailer has partnered with renowned brands like Tiffany & Co, Boucheron, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Graff, and Harry Winston to showcase their latest collections and some of the rarest pieces.

Many of these exclusive pieces were recently launched in Paris at Couture and will be available only at Harrods throughout July. This exclusive access allows customers to view and purchase some of the world’s most unique and sought-after jewellery.

Celebrating its 175th anniversary, Harrods is famous for sourcing rare and exquisite treasures. This summer exhibition highlights the retailer’s dedication to creativity, craftsmanship, and strong partnerships with leading haute joaillerie brands.

Annalise Fard, Senior Director of Beauty, Home, Fine Watches, and Jewellery at Harrods, emphasized the importance of jewellery in Harrods’ heritage. She stated, “Celebrating our 175th anniversary with such an ambitious showcase is fitting. It reflects our incredible brand partnerships and showcases some of the most exquisite and rare high jewellery in the world.”

Harrods kicked off the celebration with a private black-tie gala at the Old Royal Naval College. Guests, including actress Amy Jackson in Tiffany & Co, enjoyed a performance by Olivia Dean and a drone show over the Greenwich skyline.

The next day, clients were given an exclusive preview of the exhibition before it opened to the public on July 15. Throughout July, customers can view these pieces in the Harrods Fine Jewellery room and consult with each brand.

Beth Hannaway, Director of Buying for Fine Jewellery and Watches, commented on the exhibition: “As the home of the finest high jewellery in London, Harrods sources and curates the rarest and most exceptional finds. This exhibition showcases one-of-a-kind pieces like the Question Mark necklace from Boucheron and a unique Tiffany & Co bracelet with Umba sapphires, opals, and brilliant diamonds.”

The exhibition is open to the public, offering a chance to see some of the finest examples of artistic expression and craftsmanship in jewellery design.
