Gucci Reintroduces Equestrian Heritage with Revamped Fine Jewelry Collection

by Jasmine

Gucci has launched a new fine jewelry collection to celebrate 20 years of its Horsebit line. This collection features a range of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings, all honoring the legacy of the Horsebit design.

The Horsebit motif first appeared in a Gucci artisan’s notebook in the late 1940s. By the 1950s, it had become a symbol of elegance, featured on handbags, belts, and the renowned Horsebit loafer, which remains popular today.

In the 1970s, the Horsebit design was incorporated into bracelets and watches, leading to the creation of its own fine jewelry line in 2004.

The latest collection includes pieces in yellow gold or rose gold, with diamond accents. The yellow gold range features three necklaces, three bracelets, a ring, and two sets of earrings.

The necklaces come with either a bold Horsebit pendant or a delicate lariat style. The bracelets include a double-chain design, a cuff bracelet, and one with interlinked Horsebit elements. The collection is completed with a ring, small stud earrings, and hoop earrings.
